As we were driving down to Okoboji last Wednesday I remembered that this is our 3rd Tailgate Tour attending with Ethan. Blows my mind, three years already?!? My grandma Butcher always claims when you have your birthday you are really older than the number. For example, she would say Ethan is on his 3rd year of life, so 3. Makes sense when you think of him doing something for the 3rd time already in his life. Anyways, we had a great time. He was old enough to do some of the "kid stuff" they have this year, which was fun! The main coaches we like to see where there, too. Freddie, Rhoads, and I always enjoy Jamie Pollard, too. We met up with grandpa Bob and Connie, Donna and Lucas, and we rode down with Neil and Jaci. Every year it's always great to run into the Johnson's, too!
Photos from the night...
Best Buds, Ethan and Colin ready to go!
First stop, Cyclone tatoo or "sticker" from the cheerleader
Biggest hit, the HUGE blow up slide. Ethan climbed and climbed and learned how to wait in a long line, too!
Flying down
Colin down, here comes Ethan
Ethan wanting grandpa to play!
Playing basketball
Did I mention Ethan was afraid of Cy like he was at the basketball games! Did want Cy to hold him, and at first this is all the closer he got.
He eventually warmed up enough to go touch his leg! It was pretty funny!
Cyclone fans!
My favorite pic from the night- FREDDIE, Ethan, and me!
Each year they give away awesome stuff- all too big yet, but this year he got a Cyclone basketball jersey.
Fun was had by all! It pumped us up for another great year of CYCLONE sports!!
