Yep, whoever thought the word undies would be so exciting!! For the last 3 weeks or so Ethan has been supporting Big Boy Underwear, or his "undieeees." I think the first week I was thinking this was all a fluke as I really didn't do anything to "potty train." We started using a little potty and we weren't really consistent or pushy with it, and then daycare said he was keeping his diaper dry all day since he was using the potty so well. She said to send him in a pull-up or underwear. I have never really understood the pull-up think- believe they are a money trap. So, big boy undies it was! Since then he has done sooo well. I am finally beginning to think it really isn't a fluke and that maybe (knocking on wood) we are diaper free (except for bedtime)!

Of coarse this led to a trip to Target to stock up on the adorable little boys underwear! Overbought, thinking I was buying 3 packs and instead they were 7 packs. Needless to say he has lots of options every morning- Woody, Buzz, Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Cars, Choo Choo Trains, and about 21 other pairs!
He literally runs to go downstairs to show dad what "undieeees" he has chosen for the day.
He made it through church and out for supper tonight without any accidents and used the potty both places. He has had a few accidents here and there, but could it possibly be this easy?

Ohmygoodness! His little toosh in those undies is one of the cutest things ever. Ha! Congratulations on potty training without having to really do anything! You are SO lucky!
awesome job ethan! we haven't pushed either...but not seeing such great results...someday soon, i hope =) and you're right...there's nothing cuter than those little buns in those undieeeeeeees!
