Even great grandma Lillian got in on the action!
Saturday morning Dysart had an Easter Egg and all the kids
got eggs. It was probably the world's fastest hunt, but the prizes were
worth it.
Ethan is ready for it start.
Grandma telling him how to put the eggs in his bucket.
And he is off!
Going down the slide and finding an egg at the bottom.
So,
on Thursday Catherine (daycare lady) dressed up in a bunny costume and
Ethan freaked out. We finally got him to go take a picture with
Catherine after conviencing him it WAS Catherine. So, on Saturday when
Ethan saw this Easter Bunny he said, "It Cath-Run" I think the Easter
Bunny will always be Catherine in his eyes! He didn't stay long- just
long enough to grab his candy and he was out!
The
rain held off until after the town Easter Egg Hunt, but did ruin some
afternoon plans. We made the most of it by going to the movie Lorax.
What else do you do on a rainy day? Go to a 3D movie and eat a TON of popcorn! He kept those glasses on almost the whole time!
Look who is the popcorn hog!
While
we were at the movie, Uncle Brian, Casey and Papa hid hundreds
(seriously) of eggs in Brian's NEW Pioneer warehouse since it was
raining. They were so organized and color coded the eggs for each kid
and wrote how many each one needed to find.
The
official line up before beginning. Papa Weber gave the break down of
how many eggs each grand kid had to find! It was very officially written
down on a piece of cardboard- it was cute! The youngest got a head
start and then they entered the hunt by age.
So many eggs to find, where do I go next?
Papa with the bunny ears on.
Diving for the eggs by the end!
All the full baskets and smiling faces!
That baby Jacob has grown so much in just 2 weeks!
Papa in heaven with the little boys!
The styling boys!
Grandma Weber's flowers were already blooming and beautiful!
Family Shot
Then it was straight to changing clothes to play with all the outside toys!
Gator rides!
Ethan driving!
Going fast!
Wheee!
A super fun time had by all! Thanks Webers! And Happy Easter everyone!
