Winter White

Well, it snowed again today to make it feel like winter in Minnesota (not that I am complaining about our 40 degree weather). Last year at this time we had already had 31 inches of snow, this year, 4 and maybe we got 2 inches later today. Crazy, but here are some pics from the first snow that I felt weird about posting earlier this week when it was RAINING out!
The sled was abandoned in seconds when he saw something with wheels that he could push!

I think kids are so cute when they are all bundled up and have to waddle around!

"Run mom" He seriously started to say this! Never should have started going faster. Total workout for the day though. We should have counted the laps around the house.

We have a nice slope in our front yard that Ethan could even sled down. Now to training him to walk up the hill instead of being pulled!
Video below is the wrong direction- I hate videos on blogger- I can't ever figure them out!

Onto shopping for the perfect tree at the Y's Tree Lot. Ethan had fun walking up and down the aisles.
I think he was truly good luck in picking it out, it is the BEST and straightest tree ever! Usually its an hour task getting the tree not to look like it is going to fall over in the stand for Brad and I, but this year we didn't have to do ONE adjustment!

 All put together.
The camera is crooked here, not the tree. Guess I need some lessons on taking a good picture of your near perfect tree!
Onto our outside lights. Putting up lights is like asking for a divorce! OMG it was quit scary with Brad up on our roof! I was screaming to get down and that I really didn't care if we had lights (after I begged up to put them up) followed with him acting very scared but yet determined. Anyways, they are up!

Tis the season! Now just waiting on the Christmas cards to come that I ordered 2 weeks ago- arg!

In the meantime, Ethan will keep practicing his ABC's. He likes to think he knows them. It is pretty darn cute. We sing in the car in the morning to daycare. He NEVER does it on camera, so this morning I just recorded the ceiling while we did it so I could at least have the audio for memories. I hope you can hear him chime in on parts- it's one of those things that is probably cuter in person, but oh well.
