Wedding Showers and Farm Visits, Ethan does it all

The last 2 weekends we have been in Holstein doing fun stuff! Celebrating birthdays and having wedding showers! Ethan had fun everywhere he went! Playing with familiar faces at Melissa's bridal shower on Saturday.
Ethan was excited to see great grandma Butcher again!
Ethan got some bonding time with Aunt Lois over the weekend, he had fun walking to her (think he thought she was grandma Lori sometimes).

Melissa's sister, Michelle and her son Sam. Ethan and Sam are going to be the ring bearers in Andrew and Melissa's wedding.

"My new friend, Sam, mom."
Reading books with great grandma to pass the time by.
Playing with Ana's baby. She still wonders how you can be part of her family!
Ethan rudely taking over ALL of Ana things!

Bringing down the tables with the boys. More Ethan's style.
"Enough already, I am escaping with grandma Lori"
After impressing all the ladies it was time for Ethan to do some "manly" farm stuff. These first pictures are actually from last weekend and the pig stuff from this weekend.

"I'm here to play Uncle Andrew, what are we going to do first?"

Ethan meeting Andrew's dog, Herf. Andrew likes to carry around his huge dog. It was pretty funny. Ethan didn't quit know what to think.
First real tractor ride with Uncle Andrew. His eyes got as big as saucers when Andrew started up the tractor.
 "When can I go solo?"
 "Whoa, this thing is loud."
Dad didn't make it on this trip, but we were thinking of him when we spotted the Pioneer seed corn!
"Hey dad, hope you are getting all your farmers to get their Pioneer seed planted!"
"Riding with grandpa Bob" He has been waiting a long time to have his Curly ride with him.
Then off to see Uncle Ben's big truck. Ethan liked the big stick shifter thing.
 Ready to roll!
Then this weekend was dedicated to grandpa Bob's SHOW pigs! He worked all day to scoop their pens and put fresh bedding down for Ethan to visit. Curly was in his prime-
talking to the pigs, touching the pigs, and even sitting down with the pigs!
 Initial reaction.
 Grandpa just as excited!
"Pick out the good one for me at the fair, grandpa."
"Nice to meet you too, piggy"
Then we got real comfortable, and started talking to the pigs.

It was too funny, Ethan just didn't stop talking to those pigs!

So comfortable I think I will just sit down with these guys.
"Let's get them in the corner dad."
"Grandpa had one of these in his garage for awhile and he called it Sally. Grandpa, I found Sally."
"Dad, I think this one is the best, can we take it home?"
Another fun weekend to mark down on the calendar!
