The Magic of Christmas

Before Christmas EVERYONE said, "oh you will have so much fun with Ethan this Christmas." I knew we would, but what I didn't know was HOW TRUE they were! We seriously cannot believe how much fun and joy Ethan could bring! Don't get me wrong, we have always had fun with families over the holidays, but we just had a blast watching the magic of Christmas with Ethan this year! He was the entertainment EVERYWHERE we went! Man, did we go, go, go while being home in Holstein. TONS of photos, but each one has such a story I need to record!  Here is our Holiday in a nutshell.
First stop.....visiting the farm!

The farm dog, Herf, is sure friendly. Hopped right in to see me! Grandpa thought it was pretty funny!

This is pretty cool grandpa. You and the boys did a good job! Can't wait to come back and see these calves all grown up in a few months!

 

 Can't go anywhere with grandpa Bob and not take a silly picture, this headgate one might rank up as one of the funnier ones! Fun times at the farm!

 Ethan helped out Aunt Katie get some last minute work done early on Christmas Eve morning.  We are so proud of her accomplishments on her new business! Who needs an E-Trade baby when Ethan is the new B-lynk baby!!

 Just helping out aunt Katie, mom. Go back to bed, she has it all under control.

 "Ethan what should we work on next?"

"Um, this one Aunt Katie, let's call these guys!"

Onto Christmas Eve at grandma Lori's!! Now we all know grandma Lori is a hard worker, this Christmas she became a master Chef!! French Onion soup, sirloin tips, lamb chops, and crab legs, and more, oh my! Yummy stuff! We did our traditional pig out meal, open gifts and then off to late candle service at Church. Ethan was quit the 'hamball' while opening gifts!

I promise I am not spoiled, but YES ALL the gifts you see here are mine!

 I got this toothbrush in my stocking, I thought it was pretty cool!

We had a great time at grandma Lori's!!! The next morning was so exciting playing with all the new stuff!

Aunt Katie got me this fun scooter!

 All that playing makes a kid hungry- had to take a shot of the highchair Ethan's great-great grandpa used!

 Aunt Katie had the magical touch to get me down for my morning nap!

I HATE this photo, but those who remember from last year I had a classic Christmas lounger, this year my mom got me pj's and I think she thought it was neat that both Ethan and I wore footie jammies!

Ethan had fun playing with Uncle Ben's desk when he was little with dad and grandma..

 

Last bit of cuddle time with grandma Lori! She is a great rocker!

When Ethan goes down, the adults have nothing to entertain them selves with so, they play these silly games, like lighting their finger on fire with Uncle Harry's Sambuka trick!

 Melissa started because it was her birthday at midnight.

Then after aunt Katie was making everyone else do one, she had to! Finger in shot, finger in candle, and then you put it out in your mouth! Too much fun, thanks Grandpa Bob and Connie!!
