Ohhhh-O We're Half Way There!!

I can't believe I am at the half way point. Pretty scary actually, knowing that I will be responsible for a life in 20 weeks, but also very FUN and exciting to think about too. So, we had our 20 week ultra sound on Friday. I LOVED it, I didn't want it to end! I still can't feel those movements that well even after the tech showed me it moving and then saying she even felt it. I must be weird. We went in not wanting to know the sex. I never really had wanted to know but Brad did a little bit. I just didn't give him the option- nice huh! She said the baby was butt-up at first so we wouldn't be able to tell anyways. Then after it moved around she made sure none of our pictures showed anything that people would analyze and "think" they saw something they didn't (I'm pretty sure she was referring to Brad!) Below are the ultra sound pictures we had at 6, 7 and 8 weeks. CRAZY how much happens down there in 12 weeks and how how much more will happen in the next 20.

Crazy that we heard the heartbeat at 6 weeks and couldn't even make out anything that resembled a child. And then now...........
Above: Look sideways to see the face.
Below: arms and legs. Then a cute one of the bottom of the feet!

You have to look carefully at this last one and the next one that is first- its the face- hair on top- eyes, nose, and mouth with a hand and a foot in front of it.

Ultrasound pictures are so amazing! We just loved our 20 week appt too! Our little guy was butt up, too, so I had to go the bathroom and jump around in order to get a better luck! Just wait until that movement "kicks" into gear - WOW!

It is amazing how quickly the baby grows and changes. I'm lucky I have Billi around here to explain to me what exactly I'm looking at in some of our baby's ultrasound pictures! Just wait until you feel the baby, it's awesome!!
