It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Late...but that is what I would have called it a month ago!
The boys LOVE the Advent Calendar with different activities for us to do as a family. This night was CRAFT night...making snowflakes. I am not crafty and well....either are the kids or Brad.

Brad even needed a cocktail to get him through!
Maybe next year we will find an easier craft!

We took Emma, who I had in 3rd grade, and whose mom has been the boys' daycare provider since Ethan was born, to an ISU game. She is a senior this year and the boys think it would be pretty cool if their babysitter went to ISU!

We hit up the Kwanis Christmas Lights like always. Walk through and drive through- gotta do both!

The Country Club had a great Santa brunch one weekend.

This is actually our first FAMILY Santa photo!

How can you forget an adorable Preschool Christmas Concert to get you ready for the season!
Luke is top row...the taller one.

Also, before Christmas Luke was DETERMINED to learn to ski! He ROCKED his first lesson. An hour later and he was on the ski lifts with dad and Ethan!

Listening very closely!
Ethan, the old pro!

Luke coming down the hill for the first time ever!
Off to hit the slopes...mom hit up the bar inside!

Luke loves treats...we all know that...and so do our neighbors. We often bring treats around and so we couldn't skip Christmas! Luke made Christmas Puppy Chow.

Luke also LOVED wrapping presents ALL BY HIMSELF, nope mom couldn't even give suggestions.

Putting up the tree was WAY easier this year...Brad said last year was the last year he would let me get a real tree, I think when it fell over all decorated was the event that did him in! Click three parts together, plug in and BOOM- it was done. I have to admit it was EASIER!

Ethan hanging my new decorations up.
Luke putting his touch on the tree.

With LOTS of help from Connie we have all the new places all decked out.

The neighborhood had an ugly Christmas party and PJ party for the kids. It was fun a night!

All the crazy kids!

Yes, December was BUSY....but I love it! I see it as more eventful memories for my kids! There isn't one even I wished we didn't try to fit in!
