Summa Loving...some Okoboji!

We picked up Katie, Reese, Drew, and Ali at about 3:00 am...yes, you read that correctly! Crazy delays..but glad they made it! We took a "nap" from about 5am- 9am. and then packed up for our 7 days at Boji!

We had a 4-H gathering the first night...then decided Barefoot would fun to visit next. 

We rarely have a pic of just dad and I...seriously might be since my wedding!

This next one is just a classic. Dad has always been a 10 dollar bill guy...we always laugh at his stacks of 10. I told him 20s don't take up as much room in his wallet.

After the tourney. Dad works so hard for the golf tournament, pretty amazing how much money they raise. We went to Beer Can Alley afterwards to relax...great people watching!

Our friends Neil and Jaci took us out on the boat one day. It wasn't the warmest of days but it wasn't raining...well...for too long...it was a great time! Katie and I water skiied...brought back some great childhood memories of grandpa and grandma Butcher and uncle Steve!

Taking grandpa on rides is always entertaining. He was trying to scare the boys about bolts being too loose...in the meantime I was the one getting scared!

They added a Zip Line at Bridges...Luke had ZERO fear of going on it. Went a couple of different times.

We did the splash pad one day too.

A new adventure for me was the outdoor theater.. Cars 3 was on....it was sooo fun....until a storm popped up and it all went pitch dark. The power went out and we never got to finish the ending of the movie! I had a bruise for about 3 weeks because I jumped when the loud crack of thunder ended all the fun.

It was sooo fun being with the Merrill's all week. So glad they get to spend time with their cousins that live so far away...grandpa and Connie are always fun to play with too...want to stay even longer next year. Or buy a place...that's my vote!
