Well, this is waaay past due! But at least I am not a month late- I still have 4 days- haha!
Anyways, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our Luke Bradley!
March is truly MADNESS here in MN. We love the NCAA tourney- we all get into it! This year was no exception! With our house being in disarray with the remodel and Brad going to Milwaukee to cheer on the Clones, left us no weekends to do a big birthday bash for Luke at the house this year. We had lots of celebrations though! On the 13th we opened presents before school.
One from his brother and a NEW BIKE from mom and dad.
Then went out to dinner at Dino's. The kids love to go their for their birthdays because they get their own pizza and get to make a sundae!
Excited about the sprinkles!!
We even went home for more fun...CHOCOLATE CAKE!
Since we didn't have plans for a family party at the house, we punted last minute and did a birthday part at Bridges Bay for Luke with his Iowan cousins.
Baby Charlie joined the fun!
So did Becky!
Kate and Donna were able to make it!
Look at this gang coming down the Lazy River!
Not going to lie, this took several "trips around" to get them all in the same spot long enough for a quick photo!
Good chats a
Yes, they did come out of the water to have some cake! Not for very long though!
We pooped Charlie out!
LOTS of GIFTS and LOTS of excitement!!
Becky and her thumb!
Cool shades, dude!
And the celebrations just kept on coming...Papa and Grandma Weber made it up in April to celebrate.
He got some cool sumo bumper inflatables- they had fun with them right away!
Well, our Lukey continues to keep us on our toes! I am assuming year 4 will be the same. He is ALL BOY is something people often comment on- he likes farts, toots, any excuse to talk about farts and toots. In fact with the NCAA bracket- guess who Luke picked....yep...BUTler- he thought that was fun and better yet, when you asked him WHY he picked BUTler he responded the same every time "because BUT is not appropriate!" Yep, he KNOWS it is not appropriate so that is why he would pick it! We are in soo much trouble with this kid in the future. Hoping he matures during year 4~
He knows he has to work on his manners and often says (when he gets in trouble) "I'm working on it mom, I am trying my best."
Some other things he likes- CHOCOLATE- chocolate cake, pie, candy- anything chocolate and he loves it. TENNIS- yes, so strange- why would Luke pick baseball, football, or basketball when he could pick something totally random- like Tennis. He sees the tennis courts everyday and thinks he is good at it even though he has never played. So, for his birthday we signed him up for some tennis lessons this summer. We shall see how it goes.
CHEESESTICKS- this kid could eat cheese sticks all day if you let him.
Things Luke doesn't like-
BEING QUIET- he talks all day I swear. He even talks in his sleep! He always has "one more thing, mom" or "I'll be quiet when I tell you this."
GOING TO BED- he is the master of staling. Drinks, bathroom, food requests- they all come at bedtime! He likes to cuddle with his mom to get to sleep still. I know someday I will miss the snuggle requests, so yes at 4, I still lay with him for a bit every night after books and rub his back.
He is just growing up way too fast. Where did my baby boy go?
Love you so much Lukey!!
