The weather in May is always unpredictable. Some May Days it's hot and sunny and some have even had snow. This year it was a pretty decent day delivering these baskets. The boys look forward to this every year as it seems to be our only holiday were are consistently home to start a tradition.
We make the same Sprinkle Popcorn every year. This year we added a "getaway" car to help in running away with our loot.

It was cute watching Luke run up to the houses and sprint as fast as his little legs could carry him!
May also brought bike rides to go eat food.
One night we rode to Jimmy John's and Luke ate a WHOLE one himself!
Ethan offically started reading REAL chapter books- unbelievable! Magic Tree House is his choice these days. He decided he wanted to read all 52 in the series. Yikes, that is a lot of Jack and Annie adventures!
Ethan had wacky hair day one day- it was an easy one for him and his wild hair!
We had some cold rainy days in May, too. We hit up a 3D movie, The Jungle Book one weekend.
Ethan also lost another tooth- this one his FRONT tooth- the one that was going grey. BIG whole for such a little tooth. He pulled this one out himself at school.
He was sooo proud of himself! Helped me as I don't like pulling teeth already after pulling 2. Long ways to go!
We did a LOONNGG bike ride one Sunday to Madison Lake. It was 8.5 miles one way. Ethan was so pumped he made it there. We had lunch and then headed back. I was a bit nervous that the ride home wouldn't be as exciting as the ride out, but he made it all 17 miles on a one speed bike. Luke got the easy way out- rode in the trailer behind mommy
He did it!
On my birthday we headed down to Okoboji for the Iowa State Tailgate tour. We had gone every year since Ethan was a baby and then last year they didn't have it. They were back this year so we didn't want to miss it!

Cy was the highlight for Luke until.....

This is the part where Luke got a bit out of control. He was so excited for Cy to be on stage and since we were in the front row I think all the clapping and cheering made him think they were all doing for him since he got real crazy- probably not, was probably the pop! haha

Then when the time came for the kids to go on stage to get their free gear, Luke was literally the first kid up there front and center. No stage fright for that guy!
This next photo show 2 fun things....Ethan started baseball practice and May and Rah Rah came. She hung out with Luke during the practice. Can you spot her on the swings back there and Ethan fielding the ball in the black shirt.
We got Rah on Monday night and she got to live a day in the life of the Weber's. Baseball practice and then out for supper. Cheers to a fun 24 hours with her!
Rah Rah stayed home with Luke while Ethan went to school. They had a BUSY BUSY morning!!!

Then they headed for food at Burger King!
Ethan and I took Ronda to Okoboji to have supper with grandpa and hand Ronda off to Holstein crew. Hope she can come play again soon!!!
A few days later Our friends the Johnke's came to town to visit from the cities. Colin and Ethan were having a blast and Luke really warmed up to Ali!
Oh and Ethan also had a end of the year Church party. He had perfect attendance for Wednesday night CCD!!
On our last week of school. Where did this school year go?? Super pumped for summer though!!!
