Rarely have we ever had the boys different places on the weekend but we had 2 big events on the same weekend: Iowa/Iowa State football game and the Clay County Fair hog show. Ethan wanted to show his pigs and so we dropped him off with grandpa and Connie Friday night and Luke, Brad and I headed to Ames. Well, we made it to Pochahontas and decided to sleep and drive the rest of the way in the morning. I don't know if I have ever just got in a car and had no plans for hotels... I like a plan. Oh well, it worked.
Bad luck in the morning as grandma Lori had a bad run in with a Fed Ex truck she definitely had angels watching over her!! It was not her fault but her car was totaled. We left it on the street in Ames and decided to just go enjoy the game.

The last game Luke refused to go potty in the port a potty because there are "monsters in there". So, we brought his little potty with this time! Haha.
Some "full"college girls the tailgate next to us thought Luke was the cutest and entertained him/us.
We enjoyed the game until the 4th quarter.. Darn Cyclones!
