Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day! We had a special night before Valentine's Day for Ethan. Papa and Connie had bought Shrek the Musical tickets for Ethan's birthday. It was at CY Stephans in Ames. It was an awesome show!

Ethan was soo pumped before the show waving his Shrek flag. Once it started he got a bit scared and the flag was then a great 'hide behind and peek over tool'. He spend almost the whole first half laying on Papa's belly watching while holding on. Then he got used to the loud band and the people dressed up in costumes and really rocked out the second half of the show!

 Our little 'Heart Breaker' Valentine's morning at the hotel.

 We enjoyed a great breakfast of heart shaped pancakes and red fruit at the hotel in the morning! Perfect!
We had to give Ethan's Valentine's to his daycare friends the day before, since we got to spend the day with Ethan!

A HUGE improvement from last year. I almost had a kitchen fire last year trying to make heart shaped crayons for the kids, so we went with chocolate and shovels this year!
