What to do when you're TWO!

Here is what Ethan has been up to his first couple weeks of being TWO! So far, not TERRIBLE!
1. Going grocery shopping and having his OWN cart!
I went in thinking he wouldn't make it past the first section, but he surprised me and kept up the whole way. Even tired putting his groceries on the belt. Oh, and tried to add 3 jars of jelly, that we didn't need, that I caught as we were checking out.
Let's just say Ethan got a lot of attention at the store and he thought he was pretty cool! In other words, he was being quite the show off!
 Can't forget the ice cream!

2. Trip to the ISU Kansas basketball game. Where Ethan helped CHEER and bring back Hilton Magic!
On the ride down he wore dad's sunglasses to keep the sun out.
3. LONG bath times. Making "crazy hair" Ethan loves to have us make his hair crazy and then look in the mirror. He then tries to spike our hair too!

Oh, and we are obsessed with the letters in the tub. He sings his little ABC song, but we are still working on colors. You ask him what color is this...."BLUE" EVERYTHING is always BLUE!

4. Playing at the park on WARM winter days!
 Ethan and Colin
Ethan, Colin, and some girls that are going to be moving into our neighborhood soon! I went to grad school with their mom, so that will be fun!

5. Helping dad recover from his Lasik eye surgery. He is doing good. Vision good! Ethan has now gravitated towards those killer glasses. He likes to wear them around the house. I don't have a picture because I am always laughing so hard because they are HUGE on his face.
 6. Going to mom's school's Sneaker Hop. He went last year and had a ball. This year we walked in and he took off for the dance floor! Then when the DJ had all the kids sit down for directions of a game, Ethan sat down and listened to every word. Can you find the little guy in the photo? The kids are looking at a parent with a silly hat on, and Ethan stayed focused on the man with the mic.

He was popular with all of my former students, everyone wanted to dance with Ethan. He did the hula hoop contest and  just spun around in circles. I think the DJ felt sorry for him and gave him a stuffed animal for "trying".
Here are some videos, I thought I was taking photos so they are super short :) I do this ALL the time!

I can't wait for more adventures with Ethan this year. Oh, and by the way, it was Saturday morning and Ethan slept in until 9:45!!! Yes, I am the luckiest mom ever! He gives me gifts all the time and doesn't even know it!
