Birthday Party Again

We had a blast celebrating Ethan's birthday again! On Friday Grandpa Bob and Connie came up to watch Ethan during the day. They had as much fun as Ethan had I think! They played so hard he fell asleep while eating!

Connie couldn't wait to give him a present so after his bath he got to open his NEW PJ's.
Playing tractors with grandpa.
Grandpa calling Ethan a "bottle baby calf".
On Saturday, Grandma Lori and Frank, Andrew and Melissa, and Ben and Brianna came up to join us for his party. Jaci, Colin, and Neil Johnke did as well. Here are some decoration photos. Note, I did not make anything you see here. All ordered, why, because I can't bake and I love etsy.com!

Practicing getting excited when opening presents~
Ethan was so happy to see Colin. Zoie gets REALLY jealous when they both get all the attention!

Well, so much for the bib! This guy didn't need it!
He totally ignored his cake!
Just touched it once and created that mess- he did not eat any of it. This leaves me with a couple of questions: Is this kid mine? Does he know a sweet tooth runs in the family?
Ethan really had fun watching Aunt Katie on the computer while we Skyped. It was fun to have her 'part' of our day!
He liked his apples and pork, even though everything turned green that he touched!
He didn't know what to think of that hat, he was really focused on it not falling off I think.

Excited for this one!
Mom had to help or we were going to be there ALL day!
Digging in!
Modeling his ISU vest.
Okay, funny story I have to tell with this one. So, Aunt Katie sent GREAT gifts from Florida, one being these crocks. You can't really tell from this photo, but these looked like clown shoes on Ethan. 2 weeks ago, Katie texted and asked what size of shoe Ethan wore, I said 3. She wrote back, "Oh No, his shoes I sent are going to be really big, I ordered a 7! " So, we all decided I should keep them and re-wrap them every birthday to see how long it will be before Ethan can wear them. We can all ask Ethan "Do they fit yet?" Sorry Katie, had to tell the story! To give her credit she didn't look at them at the store, just ordered on-line.
A RIDING John Deere from Andrew and Melissa. This kid is SET up for farming!

Look out Colin, I have places to go!
Colin making his own fun in the giant dump truck Grandma Lori and Frank got him!

Ben teaching Ethan how to use one of his new toys! We had a big sleepover with grandma, Frank, Ben, Bri, Andrew and Melissa. Of course Grandma Lori was too active with Ethan to sit still for a picture. She needs lessons on posed pictures! Sorry grandma!
I on the other hand,  didn't even get to spend much time with him this weekend, he was mobbed by everyone else, which is fun to watch! It was hard to go back to work on Monday though!
Moral of the weekend....Ethan was totally spoiled AGAIN. You name a toy and I bet we have it in our inventory! Thanks everyone for making Ethan's day so memorable!
